Bio
Welcome everyone! I am Mrs. Clark and I teach Chemistry I and Environmental Science. This is my fourth year teaching at Franklin County High School. I Graduated from MTSU in 2017 with a major in Chemistry and a minor in secondary education. I have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. I am very passionate about science and sharing that passion with my students. I am a workshop leader at Tennessee Girls in STEM (TGIS) at MTSU. TGIS is a program designed for middle and high school girls that encourages toward careers in STEM.I am a member of the American Chemistry Society and Tennessee Science Teachers Association. I am also the sponsor of the Chemistry Club.
When I am not in school I enjoy camping and horseback riding with my family. I am looking forward to an exciting new year of learning science and how it relates to our everyday lives. My goal as a teacher is to not only teach my students about science but to develop within them 21st century skills that will benefit them a lifetime.
