Congratulations to Ashlee Christenson for receiving honors from the Duck River Electric Membership Corporation (DREMC) and the QuestBridge College Prep Scholars Program.  As the winner of the DREMC essay contest, Ashlee will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D. C., this summer to learn about our nation’s heritage.  In addition to this recognition, she was one of 3,986 applicants, selected from a field of 11,600, who was chosen to get admission to the top-tier colleges with a 4-year full scholarship or generous financial aid.  Ashlee was recommended by Mrs. Callaway, her English III honors teacher.
